Setting up your Vizio 50 Plasma

Happy Birthday to you! Or whatever the excuse was to indulge yourself in a Vizio 50 plasma television. If you have been planning this all along, purchasing what you need a little at a time, you probably don’t have much left to do. Just get a few of your buddies to help pack it up to your second story apartment. Your Vizio 50 can be put exactly where you have deemed is its place and voila, you have yourself a top notch entertainment center.
If, on the other hand, you were just browsing waiting for your teenager to decide what music was in this week, and gave in to an impulse, you are probably trying to decide where it can go, and how you were going to get it there. You need to acknowledge some needs of your plasma 50 here.
For one thing, this gigantic television is not only 50 inches, but it weighs over 300 pounds. You are not likely to be getting that up your front steps and into your living room without some serious help. You also have to figure out how to protect yourself and the TV so it doesn’t fall over and ruin all your glorious dreams of high definition movie watching. Do one of two things. Get yourself the proper mechanism for wall mounting, the ones made especially to hold the weight of your 50 inch television. Or, get yourself a sturdy LCD TV table to set it on that includes the support for anti-tipping.
You also want to protect your new Vizio 50 plasma from power surges. Be sure you have plugged it into a power strip made especially for sensitive electronics and you will have the viewing experience of a lifetime.
